About Step

WWF-Hong Kong’s Sustainable lifestyle Target Education Programme (STEP) is an in-school education outreach programme. Developed and implemented by WWF-Hong Kong, STEP encourages students to learn about and begin to understand the interrelationship between humans and natural resources; ultimately promoting a sustainable lifestyle through wise choices and improved consumption habits.

Highlights of STEP

Our Goal

  • improves "sustainability literacy"
  • encourages positive changes in attitudes and behaviours towards environmentally sustainable choices in people’s daily lives
Acts as a model and catalyst for:
  • participating schools to integrate sustainability using a “whole school” approach
  • popularizing the issue of sustainability in the local education sector
  • promoting Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) best practices across WWF International network and in local eNGOs

Our Audience
